Wolfgang’s Vault is the archival division of famous concert promotion company Bill Graham Presents. Austin based Drew Fish Band has released ‘Sounds Like A Plan’ (Hill/Brown/Grimes) from Drew’s Treat You Right EP as a single with accompanying video in the Texas Music market. The add date at radio was January 20th and the single continues to rapidly move up the Texas Regional Radio chart.  The song was co-written with Texas Music artist Curtis Grimes. A new song called ‘North Atlantic Blues’ (Hill/Johansen/Nilsen) was recorded for a special release in Norway called Good Ol’ Boys, by Benoni & Big Hand, featuring iconic Norwegian artist Ottar “Big Hand” Johansen. We’re pretty stoked to hear that Mac Gayden might be recording a song he co-wrote with Byron for his next album. Mac is famous for being a founding member of several iconic bands including Area Code 615 (Polydor), Barefoot Jerry (Capitol), and Skyboat, and Mac co-wrote with Buzz Cason the monster Pop hit ‘Everlasting Love’.  Chris Johnson and The Hollywood Hillbillies have recorded ‘Put Some Alcohol On It’ (Hill/Brown/Bamford). The Hotdisc chart in the UK has included Lynne Taylor Donovan’s recording of ‘The Strong One’ (Hill/Rawson) on their list of the Top 30 Most Popular Songs of 2016. A little trivia….the chart-topping song ‘Born Country’ (Hill/Schweers) recorded by Alabama made its debut on the chart twenty-five years ago on January 11, 1992 and has been released on at least 16 albums since. More to come…
