JUNE 1, 2017 (UPDATED) – There are only a few days left for Alabama fans to see the Alabama: Song Of The South exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. The exhibit runs through June 11, 2017, and includes the original handwritten lyric for Alabama’s iconic hit “Born Country”, written by Byron Hill and John Schweers. The Music of Nashville Original Soundtrack Season 5 Volume 2 features 11 brand new tracks including the song “Can’t Remember Never Loving You” (Hill/Janes) performed by Charles Esten and Connie Britton. The album released exclusively on Amazon on June 1st coincides with the upcoming episodes of Nashville on CMT to finish out the dramatic season. The Dailey & Vincent Show on RFD-TV will be re-airing the (Episode #111) performance of Dailey & Vincent with guest Aaron Tippin of the song “Til They Came Home” (Hill/Dekle). The unique show is filmed in front of a live audience at the Franklin Theatre in Franklin, TN and is aired every Friday night on RFD-TV at 7:30 eastern/6:30 central. The legendary Mac Gayden has recorded a song he co-wrote with Byron for his next album. Mac was a founding member of several well-known bands (Area Code 615, Barefoot Jerry, Skyboat). Mac Gayden also co-wrote the mega-pop hit ‘Everlasting Love’. Byron is in the studio putting finishing touches on the second EP for Michael Cosner. The EP is expected to be released in late 2017, and will include songs Michael co-wrote with several well-known songwriters. A song Byron co-wrote with artist Kelsey Lamb is being licensed soon for an upcoming Lifetime Channel movie No air-date set yet. Kelsey is also working on her new project with producer Bill McDermott. Canadian singer/songwriter Becca Hess is completing production on her new CD this month, which will include two songs she co-wrote with Byron and Roger Brown.
